As we head into the weekend still hungover by the Diwali festivities, a theatre event gives you an interesting and unorthodox way to end the long weekend and who in Delhi would want to miss out on this when you get to see 4 plays in 1 hour & 10 minutes just for Rupees 200
Using theatre as a means of Storytelling they tell you 4 slice of life stories in a 1 hour 10-minute long event
All of these stories belong to different genres
The first of the stories called Itna Bhi Nahi Tha is about Ramesh a renowned divorce lawyer who has to deal with an eccentric Nishant and a fed up Shama as his clients. The best part about this play is that this is being done for the first time and you are going to witness actors trying their best to fit into the characters when they do not know what the best of this play can look like 🙂
Beautiful World of Lies – A painting stolen by a bunch of gangsters in Antigua has been lost. They
suspect on each others intentions and accuse each other of stealing the painting. But who has the
painting ? Who is lying? Find out.
Ramans Good – Raman has been caught for the murder of shazia. The good part of Raman accuses the bad part of committing the crime. Witness the 10 min long journey of Ramans conscience. You surely do not want to miss out on this monologue of one actor playing the role of two characters 🙂
Wo Rang Jo Hamare Hain is about Madho and his painting which reminds him of his love. The play based in 1944 is special because both the characters of the play are Blindfolded. Yes, actually!! The last time this play was performed, the female character fell off the stage, almost :p
The Event happens at Alliance Francaise Lodhi road (nearest metro station Jor Bagh), Delhi this Sunday evening 6 :20 pm. The tickets are available on Bookmyshow at this link and at the venue as well.
